Based in the central Italian city of Perugia, FiftyFive Garage specialize in the design and creation of handmade custom motorcycles. Using high-quality components and skilled craftsmen, the shop churns out fine café racers that are meant to be used on a daily basis. Reasonable prices are the norm here, with this specific 1982 Moto Guzzi build being one of their most expensive at 10,000 euros.

The fully restored 1000 SP I benefits from a sanded, overhauled and optimised engine, as well as a refreshed transmission. New filters, race manifolds crafted from billet aluminium and custom exhaust with the obligatory thermal wrap complete the performance upgrades along with new Brembo brakes.

The sandblasted and red powder-coated frame is matched with a Guzzi tank (and a cool airbrushed logo), snap cap and brushed aluminium rear end. Added visual pizzazz comes courtesy of the saddle leather and perforated Alcantara seat with custom red stitching, and leather covers for the white-faced gauges.

Painted aluminium wheels with new OEM size tyres, racing handlebars and Tarozzi rear sets are accompanied by uprated forks, shocks and a new steering damper. Finally, a removable fairing, simplified electricals and a smaller battery complete the build.
